About

The Process

Every piece follows a deliberate path from raw material to finished work.

01

Sourcing

Selecting sustainably harvested and reclaimed timber from the Okanagan Valley and surrounding forests.

02

Milling & Drying

Each log is milled into slabs and air-dried for one to three years, depending on species and thickness.

03

Design

Working with the natural form of the wood — its curves, grain, and character — a design emerges through sketches and templates.

04

Joinery & Shaping

Precision joinery by hand and machine. Every joint is fitted, tested, and refined before final assembly.

05

Finishing

Hand-sanded through fine grits and finished with natural oils that enhance the grain and protect the surface for decades.

06

Delivery

Each finished piece is carefully inspected, documented, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
